  • Bulldogs!

Well....Daniel finally got to go to his 1st UGA football game!  He had a great time with his Dad.  Of course, Ross was wearing a GA Southern T-shirt in the middle of UGA season ticket holders!!  Daniel's favorite part was eating Dippin Dots out of a UGA helmet.......so funny!  Oh....and he liked the band.  Here are a few pics that Ross took and Daniel took.....

  • 1st Day of School!

Yippee!  School started!  I know....in a few weeks I'll be hating it but for now.....I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of my home!  You must remember....I've never had this luxury since I've had kids!  I'll languish in it for awhile!
Here are a couple of pics of my new 1st and 3rd graders!  Ross took one and I took the other at school......I had to be at school at 7 am for the county's Day One activity.  We greet all the kiddos as they get to school and pass our pencils....it's fun!  Anyway, I had to leave before the were ready so Ross took some pics and this is the only one I really liked.  Luckily, I got another one at school before they went in.  And yes, our county went to uniforms this year and the kids ALL looked so nice today in the uniforms!!  I just loved it!

  • Monday Fun

Monday was my day to keep 2 extra kiddies so we piled in the gas guzzling van and drove to Yellow River Game Ranch in Gwinnett County and played and fed all million deer and rabbit and any other animal that would let us....the kids had a lot of fun even though it was hot.  Luckily, it's all shaded!  Here are some pics of the kids playing......

  • Promotion Day

Today at church they had a special Promotion Day for the children going to 1st Grade.  In our church, this means going from the Preschool Ministry to the Children's Ministry.  It also means they will get to start going to Children's Church after Sunday School instead of an extended care class......they had a really nice breakfast for the families and Pastor Tim came down to present the children with nice Bibles in a cute little bag that says "New Kids on the Pew".  The bag had a pencil, bookmark and some paper in it.  It was all really nice.  The church took a picture of the kids when Pastor Tim gave them their Bible and so I'm not going to scan it and post.  I did take one of Daniel leaving church today with his gifts though......
